This wine disply unit was designed for a retail situation where space was very limited, but a wide range of wines was desired to be available.
The solution was to have shelves which each displayed bottles in a semi-recumbrant position so that the labels could be read, with a second bottle behind at a similar rake. The sale of the front bottle would reveal the second bottle and its label for a subsequent customer to see.
As the stock room was close to the point of sale restocking and sales in excess of 2 bottles could easily be achieved.
The top shelf was for bottles displayed in an upright positon as obviously no person would be able to see the labels above a certain height.
The unit can be from between 6 to 10 bottles wide, two or more units filling out the total width required. The diagram above shows two such units, standing together.
